| On April 14th our friends and co-workers at Hurley held an Ice Cream Social to benefit Paige. The event was scheduled to cover all three shifts and what a success it was. They went through 57 gallons of ice cream, 140 bananas (cut in half for splits), 400 brownies used for sundaes, not to mention all the volunteers who swapped and worked each others shifts to make this all happen. At one point the ER staff not only donated a generous amount for sundaes, but to top it off they delivered them to patients on the pediatric floor. Paige had a clinic appointment that morning and was able to attend for a short time to sample all the goodies. Words cannot say how thankful and blessed we are to have each and every one of you wonderful people in our lives. You all never cease to amaze us. |
