We're excited to say that the ReMax Grande-Children's Miracle Network Fundraiser Saturday night was a huge success.  The total raised from this event is whopping $28,809.10.  Is that awesome or what!  There were approximately 300 people there.  Many were ReMax agents, and local title and mortgage companies who sponsored corporate tables.  Also, many of our family and friends were there to show their support.  They included the PA's and the NeuroTrauma ICU from Hurley, Flint Neurosurgeons, Genesys Hospice and Swartz Funeral Home.  We can't tell you the overwhelming feeling we had knowing that everyone was there to support such a great cause.
The evening started at 6 p.m. with h'ordeurves and the silent auction, which lasted until 8pm.  The silent auction alone raised $10,000.  After 8pm we ate dinner which was followed by a short speech from Kim Conn of Remax Grande, a representative from CMN, and a short thank-you from Andy and I.  Then the moment everyone was waiting for.... the Harley V-Rod drawing.  An enthusiastic crowd cheered to the sound of a revving motorcycle (provided by the DJ) as I picked the winner... Ray Hutchinson of Owosso, Michigan.  Unfortunately he wasn't present, but was apparently very excited when they called to tell him he won.  I'm still working on organizing pictures from the fundraiser, and will hopefully have them on the website within a few days.
Also, yesterday we spoke we someone from the Hurley foundation regarding the amount of donations thus far from family and friends.
As of yesterday there was $15,698 donated.  This, along with the $28,809.10 from Remax Grande/ CMN  fundraiser brings the total to an unbelievable amount of $44,507.  We are so grateful to all of you for helping to make "Paige's Playroom" a reality.

With Love,
Andy & Sandi
