| April 28, 2004 Wednesday Day +54 of Tranplant Paige slept pretty good last night. We went to the radiation area early this morning and again met with the radiation oncologist. The original plan was to CT her head and lower extremities in order to map out the exact areas to radiate. Since they didn't want her under anesthesia for the amount of time it would take for the CT and the actual radiation, they decided to wait until tomorrow for the radiation itself. As of 10pm we still weren't sure of the exact time. After returning to the floor around noon she had her third and final day of chemotherapy. Since Paige was feeling so well this afternoon Grandma watched her so Andy and I could get away for some much needed time together. While we were both hesitant about leaving we agreed it was a good idea to get away and clear our thoughts. It was a relief to see Paige in a great mood when we returned and she remained that way until she fell asleep. She was so cute with her words and actions that it made you want to hug her and never let go. Again, we thank all of you from the botttom of our hearts for your continued love and support.
