                                              Day +53 of Transplant
                                                   Day 11 Post-op

Today has been an OK day.  Pain control still remains a challenge and they've increased her continuous infusion of morphine.  While her main complaint of pain is her right ankle she seems to be uncomfotable anytime she moves.  She did feel good enough to visit the playroom for a few hours this afternoon.  She continues to spike fevers (103.3 max today) and remains on two antibiotics.  At least point they're questioning whether the temperature is infection or tumor related.  She was finally seen by the radiation-oncologists this afternoon.  She will have a CT of the head and ankle tomorrow morning followed by radiation to those areas for pain control.  After returning from radiation she will have her third and final day of chemotherapy.  When we met with Dr. Yanik yesterday he mentioned that if they're not able to control this progression then the MIBG therapy will not be an option.
We pray and remain hopeful that something will work for Paige soon as our options seem to be running out.  It's such a helpless feeling and wish so badly that things were different.  The last thing we would want is for Paige to suffer, but right now we feel we have to keep fighting for her.  We just love her so much and can't imagine our lives without her.  Please continue to pray.

Love,
Andy, Sandi & Paige
