| Febuary 15, 2004 Sunday Even though it's a day late, Happy Valentine's Day to everyone. Paige is having a better day compared to the last few. Even though the major side effect of the new chemo drug is severe diarrhea, she has been very constipated. Yesterday we were at day 9 with no bowel movement. So, for the last few days we've been giving her a cocktail of medications that finally started working. Needless to say she's feeling much better and has been able to keep her food down. We return to clinic Tuesday for a check-up. We started Valentine's Day with some painting, which turned into body painting for Paige. Nana and Pop-pop have been here visiting from Pennsylvania for the last week and surprised her with a cute little table and chairs. She and Nana sat at the front window and made Valentine's cards for everyone. Pop-pop put up a birdfeeder outside the window where Paige loves to watch the chickadees eat. Later in the day Grandma arrived with her Valentine gifts. Paige was so excited when she opened her new twin dolls...they even have their own stroller and highchair.
